Because THE president is not just the director of the administrative branch. He is the commander in chief of the armed forces.
An army that was under the command of a woman would be too sissy to be an effective deterrent to agression.

America has not yet realized the potential of having a female head of state.

I suspect this will change in another 20 months.

What a great group of women.

So far, we haven't had a woman that I would vote for. Considering I'm not a fan of Hillary, it still won't happen.
