To make a dog happy, we must provide meaningful, fair, consistent, appropriately timed, appropriately measured attention.
Have you changed your routine at all,dogs get confused when a routine is changed.Do you fuss him when you first come home and take him for a walk or play with him.He needs to know it's fun time when you come home or he has nothing to be happy about.
If your routine is the same and you do all the other things is he getting older or is he sick.Maybe a trip to the vet is needed to put your mind at rest.

Maybe he is just down in the dumps. I really can't say, because my pit bull Max is happy to see me if I just step out to get the mail.Take him for a check up.

What a bunch of jerks so far on here. Anyways he's probably jsut getting older. Do more things with him and take him with you to places when possible, buy him special treats, make him feel loved and he will love you back :)

maybe he's sick of you! (in a non-demeaning way) what i meant was, maybe he's just so used to you that it's not that exciting as when you first get him, and he runs around all day!
either that or he's too old to be jumpy and energetic! they must relax

aww! dont worry. is he old? if so, then maybe hes just tired and aging. trust me hes prolly really happy , but just maybe is older or tired. give him lots of love! ♥
