not many people know but hitler was part jewish. there was an affair in his family and thats how he was part jew. He was just an evil person who thought his vision of the world was the right one so he exterminated everything that in his eyes weren't right. then he invented meth, and if you know a meth addict, they can be pretty violent.

How people behave as adults has everything to do with how a person grows up. I am not saying that it is an excuse for bad behavior, but it does give you an understanding.

The History Channel has an interesting series on Hitler called The Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler. It goes through and talks about his life growing up, his time in the military, and as a dictator and commander.

Simply put we was an insecure and resentful person who hated the fact he was part Jewish. Who believe that his mother had a hard life because she was Jewish. Somewhere along the way he began to believe that all of his failures in life stemmed from being Jewish.

Hitler was only able to kill so many Jewish people because of the deep resentment that built towards them in German society throughout the 20s and 30s. After the first world war Germany was in a horrible depression in part because of reparations Germany was forced to pay to allied countries per the treaty of Versailles. Deep bigotry towards Jewish people developed and it was generally accepted among the populous of Germany that the Jews were the cause of all of their problems. Callus power hungry people capitalized on these sentiments and used them to gain power and further perpetuate the bigotry. Hitler did not kill all of those Jewish people by himself, he was only enabled to do so by the ignorance of the populous of the nation behind him. Racism and hatred are powerful forces that lead down a dark slippery slope.

He was angry because coincidently, the doctor that treated his mother that died was a Jew, the accountant who managed his father's business that went bankrupt was a Jew, and the professor that told him his lifelong dream of becoming an artist was impossible because he had no talent was a Jew. Therefore, his anger resulted in his conclusion that ALL Jews were the source of Germany's problems. As a result, many of his follower's believed his idea was logical because they too, were in search of a scapegoat to blame for Germany's problems, and the Jews just happened to be it.

Hitler was a demented person and as a dictator, he wanted Germany to be 'clean'. He considered Germans the 'Master race'.
Any others were inferior to them.
So in effect, he tried to get rid of all of the Jewish people, Hungarians, older people, and many Gypsies also.
He succeeded in killing about 6 million men, women and children in his death camps.
He didn't fulfill his wacko dreams, because he committed suicide with his wife in of April, 1945.

He was obviously irrational, but psychologists have different ideas about what motivated him to take such extreme actions. Here is a link to a good article.
