The doors panels are painted on both sides. The window motor assembly is pop riveted to the inner door panel. Consequently there is a very poor ground. Simplest way to repair is to drill out one of the rivets, remove the paint from around the hole & replace with a 1/4" fastener.

i've got had 2, each '89 wagons. the 1st replaced into as quickly as a GL variety (3.0 Vulcan) and it replaced into as quickly as practically suited; least complicated "subject concerns" I had have been fluid leaks from accepted gaskets or hoses. I gained rid of it at 166k miles by undeniable fact that it replaced into as quickly as totaled from a rear end collision. I enjoyed it lots I gained an added one, besides it replaced into as quickly as the LX variety (3.8 Essex V6). It had 165k miles on it jointly as i offered it, and it relatively is needed on the factor of the best purchase mechanical replaced, whether i admire the digital sprint, computerized community climate take care of, sunroof, illuminated door locks, and picnic table. 3.8's had head gasket subject concerns each 60k miles by undeniable fact that of gasket technological awareness of the time, complicated from aluminum cylinder heads on an iron block, whether there are extra modern head gaskets that treatment that subject. the three.0 Vulcan is practically bulletproof although. locate individual who hasn't been abused and you heavily isn't dissappointed.
