MAX Cricket was invented by the ex-Kiwi captain Martin Crowe, and became very popular in NZ. But these days no one plays it anymore. However the Twenty20 cricket which originated in England recently, has become very popular all throughout the cricketing world.

How come Twenty20 became popular, while MAX Cricket has become extinct?

ICC has worked on Publicity and media coverage of 20-20 and i think thats why it is popular now !! they have an agenda to take this game to US and China and this was an acceptable(distorted actualy) form of circket for those "busy" countries !! Btw i have no idea about the formate of Max Cricket !!
