Funny how some of you who are saying you're smarter than men, are the one's misspelling everything!

I think men and women are intelligent in different ways. Men are more logical than women and so in anything dealing with logic men will usually do better. Women are more emotionally intelligent.
I read a study a while back that said women/girls usually make better homework grades but when it comes to tests, men/boys excel far above the women/girls.
This is just my opinion, however. ;)

This is becoming completely ludicris.
Women have a very sterotypical view of men as arrogant, under-minded gorrillas, so to speak.
They only view them of importance due to being an alpha male and more brawn instead of brains. This is not true.
The truth is (generally) women act out of emotion and men act for respect of others.
Look at all the other answers, most women truely think they are smarter than men.
(Not to be sexist) Sorry ladies, but most corperate leaders are men, most people in politcal power are men. Also, for the longest time in history men have shown dominance over women (of course until all the civil rights stuff, and WWII).
What I'm trying to really say is that everyoe has a different level of intellegence and neither all men nor all women are smarter than the other gender.

Your assumption that women "think" they are smarter than men is incorrect. Women do not think they are, they know they are smarter than men. If you note in Parade magazine that comes out in the Sunday edition of most newspapers (The Houston Chronicle for me), the intellectual questions are posted to a woman who is the magazine's genius representative.
Women do not think they are smarter, they know.

Because individually, men are generally on level ground with most women, but as a group, they seem to fall back on bullying, shouting, hitting and in general trying to FORCE others to think with the same "gang" mentality that a group of men usually produces.

Explain your question. My opinion is that women are smarter than men in some ways. The opposite is true, as well. So then, it means we are equal :)))

Its science related. (Yup Im a nerd)
It requires body functions and how men are quickly losing their intellegence and that women will one day be the only life forms left. Women will be alive as long as Sol (Our local star....the sun....) is here. We women are more brilliant no matter what everyone else says.

Honestly though, think about it.
Not all women are smarter than men - I can promise you that! I work with a group of women and there are a few that are just plain stupid.

I think it's been proven that woman and men are equally as smart, but men have a stigma with pride that gets in the way.

i think women think they're smarter than men because we tend to think rationally about things instead of jumping the gun and making decisions right on the spot. overthinking things definitely has it's drawbacks though...
