No, but it can be. The problem with a pre-conceived idea is that it isn't based on any sort of evidence, therefore it is simply a guess. Sometimes guesses are correct, but more often than not, they are not correct.

A preconceived idea is just an opinion. It doesn't have to be true or false, it reflects a personal idea.

nope. Its just something you expect. most of the time they are wrong, but sometimes you get lucky. like saying that blonds are dumb.. there could be 4 blonds in a class 3 smart and one dumb.. you lucked out! always a loophole to preconcieved ideas!
