How do you bleed the air out of a Grundfos pump?

Remove the large chrome screw from the end cover, replace when water comes out. Do not install the pump with the vent screw below horizontal.

What type of pump is it?? Grundfos makes many different types of pumps, it may be helpful to know what it actually is before offering advice.

Generally a cap (10p size) with large single screw slot, in centre of data plate. Pump should be stationary (not running), remove cap over bowl, vent and refit cap.
