Homelessness after running away from an abusive family at age 15. I've been on my own ever since, and had to make provisions for my own educaiton, healthcare, transportation, and shelter still as a teenager. I'm in my 20s now and doing fine thanks to a college educaiton, but those years were rough and they still affect me today.

Easy.... it would be the obstacles I create for myself. It's taken me this long to realize how to avoid the problems I create that hold me back. I have never felt so empowered & successful in my life.... all by taking a few steps back, actively looking at where I screwed up, repeatedly, and making sure...at least sincerely attempting to not replicate those mistakes.

Great Q Miss E!!!!

My biggest obstacle has always been myself for my reactions to something. Unwise decisions doesn't quite cover it.
The second, which I actually finally got a hold on, is my drug addiction(s). Something I fought for 37 years before actually dealing with it for the past year.

Death of parents and afterwords finding out my sister was actually my birth mom. ugh!! Next to that would be letting go of an abusive, cheating ex!!!! Yeah!!! Also watching children grow up and leave home. And a miscarriage! Life's tough sometimes, but we can all overcome!!

To learn to allow others to make choices that will harm them, and be supportive when the harm comes, rather than decide I know what's "best" for them, and ruin friendships by imposing my will to save them from the harm.

Controlling and acknowledging that I am an introvert. Feeding into it rather than fighting it.
