You sound like you have a lazy *** caseworker like I do. All you can do is wait for the system to catch him. If you have been trying to get cs for 3 yrs they should have gotten him by now. Ask to speak to your caseworker's supervisor or make a complaint to the state that operates the Child Support Enforcement. If you can't get results from that contact the Prosecuting Attorney in your city. If he is behind so much they should be able to revoke his driver's license or lock him up. I know you don't want him locked up but if he isn't paying what difference does it make anyway? Other than that the only place i know you can call is 1-800-SupprtKids. If they get payments for you they do take a percentage, but they will work at getting you paid.

They should be able to research the system for his social insurance number but really get a lawyer involved what he is doing is breaking the law and can constitute jail time and back pay!. I would tell him either he steps up to the plate and starts contributing to his offspring or you have no other choice then to take him to court or have him arrested for being a dead-beat parent.

Good Luck and God Bless.

Did you two ever file taxes together? If so his social will be on the tax return..... Can't the state help you? They can get his information. Call the department of Health & Human Services and ask who you should talk to.

They can get his social. Thats not up to you to obtain. Just keep waiting. Unfortunately, this takes a LONG time! I live in Illinois and I am trying to get my child support increased. My son is 4 and it hasnt changed once since he was born. I had to go through our congressman's office to get the ball rolling on this. I am just waiting for a court date now. Good luck to ya. I know how stressful this can be!

hire a private dectective to find out where he works, then get an address, give this to the courts, they can send an official letter to his boss and begin wage garnishments out of his check. They HAVE to do this to comply with the law. You can also garnish any tax refunds until any arrearge is paid in full. You get what your baby needs. I cannot stand men who think they can get away with not supporting kids they have. If they dont want kids, dont have sex or get their cojones fixed!

You can hire a skip tracer. Google search skip tracers in your area, or contact marital / custody attorneys in your area to find out if they recommend anyone in particular. They can look up his social for you, it may cost between $30 and $100, depending on who you use and where you are.

I lived in Kansas when I went thru my child support case. I had to go on assistance and the Kansas Payment Center got it for me. I didn't have his SS#. I told them his name and where he worked. They will help with the rest. Go to your local DHS, department of human resources, or SRS office. I don't know what it is called in your area. They garnish his wages for child support for me. Good luck.
