OK now ,
finally I attcehd my laptop to an external monitor, but I want to detach my laptop screen since its broken, is it possible to detach the screen & keep the key board of the laptop running?

Replaceing your screen is easier and less expensive then you may think.
http://www.screentekinc.com has both lcd screen removal instructions and good prices. Try contacting them.

You can detach it...and it will probably still work fine. If it's still under warranty, I would definitely get a replacement screen.

rip it apart. i have done this before and it worked. just make sure the pc is off and has no power source.

well yes and no. but you would have to spend money for the part that would plug in where the montior was.
