I'm only aware the Jewish ancestors suffered holocausts (very shameful and heartless).

So why all the insults on tv (Micheal Richards, Mel Gibson) and in movies (Borat). I'm very far from being a Jew, but I feel it's really sad to live through all thise rants and persecution.

What did the Jewish do to deserve this ?

They didn't do anything to deserve this, it's just bigotry.

It seems you don't know that the man who plays Borat is Jewish (Sasha Baron Cohen). This movie is not antisemitic, it's making fun of the antisemites and exposes them as what they are.

There are really no sensible reasons for it. These views are all about nonsense. And I don't know anyone that I consider intelligent and sensible who hates Jews.

I don't know what the anti semitic views are all about. Mel Gibson is the one who had remarks about jews and I think Michael Richards was denigrating black people, and I haven't seen Borat. Judging any religion in its entirety is narrow minded bigotry. Religious fundamentalism breeds it though.

well first of all...how are you very far from being a jew?.....either you are a jew or your not....and for the record it is a religion not a race.

Basically people like to blame others for their problems...and jews were the people targeted, because people didnt understand them....the jewish religion is one of the first religions that were monotheistic......and many of the jews refused to give up their religion and become whatever the government wanted them to be......causing many of the citizens to hate them

This is a good question, and one that everyone should be asking!

Anti-Semitism exists for the same reason that there have existed prejudices against Orientals, blacks, gays, Indians, aborigines, you name it--there is always a feeling of fear of "the other", and if "the other" is in the minority you end up with prejudice and hatred.

Borat is not actually making fun of the Jews.
He is making fun of those people who make fun of the Jews - showing straight to them how stupid and empty their views about Jews really are, which they use to justify hating them.
