let me explain, u click on internet and surf 4 awhile and then u click dat little red x on the top of ur screen well sometimes my computer wont let me exit out does ne one know how????

the ultimate way is to take de task manager(alt+ctrl+del) and then go to processes..n end de process..hope dat helped..

If you clicked on a link and it is taking forever to load, you click the red X to say "the heck with it" - stop. You should stay where you were.
If you click the black X at the upper-right corner of the screen, you will exit Internet Explorer.

Press Control+Alt+Delete and then choose "task manager" Then click the "applications" tab and find and highlight the window on that list and choose "end task" There will probably be another box that pops up and you choose "end now"

there is an x in the very top right hand corner, ctrl F4 also closes windows, right clicking on the tap on the bottom and clicking close closes it, or choosing close from file can close it.

CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Choose what you want to close and then press End Task. If something pops up asking if you want to end the process click on end now.
