Cowboys still have to many questions that need answered to determine how far they can go. On paper, they look great, but being a Cowboy fan, paper means nothings. They still don't have a true number one RB, Jones and Barber are good, but not great. WR are old, one injury for retirement. Line looks good, but will Lenard Davis earn his money and become the elite tackle he should be or just be lazy like he was in Arizona. Defense looks good, but Ken Hamlin is not the solution at free safety, he got burned all the time in Seattle and what are they going to do with Bobby Carpenter?
Last thing, next year Cowboys will have two first round draft picks. If they pick up a WR and a FS, look out. The Boys will be back.

Unfortunately, this will not be the year for the cowboys. Although they had an "A" draft, many of those rookies will have no impact, and the offense might struggle a bit. However, I do believe the defense will stay very strong this year allowing the Boys to get into the playoffs and squeak through to the second round. If Romo can stay healthy, and keep the opposing offense off the field, then I believe next year could quite possibly be the year for America's Team.

The Cowboys are contenders on paper, as long as Tony Romo continues to progress (and get over the bad placeholding job). But it will be interesting to see how the team transitions from Parcells to Wade Phillips. A quick start to the season will be the key.
I think the class of the NFC is still the Chicago Bears. But there are a bunch of teams (including Dallas) who will vie for the Super Bowl too.

They'll be lucky to make the playoffs with Tony Hobo in at QB.
They cowboys are horrible, stop looking into the past where they cheated and whined to get into the superbowl and win like the Patriots did for a few years, and look to the future. You guys have an AWESOME stadium being built. Now it's time to put a worthy team with that stadium. Stop the whining, the cheathing, and the being idiots, then you're set.

dude, its the NFC, so there is about 4-5 teams that could contend! I am a strong believer year in year out that the Boys will go the Super Bowl! So think this yr they atleast get to the second round unless they win the division this yr, as they should! Then I would say the NFC Championship atleast! I think this D will thrive, which strange enough to say was the weakness! We were a vasoline ball away from moving on to Chicago last yr so its in place! Ugh I was so sick, went all the way to Seattle! I truely hate those people up there in Seattle!

Lord I hope this is there year!!!! I'm tired of being disapointed all the time by my favorite teams. ( Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, Mavs, Texas A&M sports in general.) I just want one of my teams not to suck!!!!!!!
