Could you solve this example problem for me? I don't know how to do it.

A survey found that 30% of older Americans have given up driving. If a sample of 1500 older Americans is taken, the standard deviation of the sample is___.

Standard deviation of a binomial distribution is √(np(1-p)), which in this case is √(1500*.7*.3) = √315 ≈ 17.748

Could be 38.7 but I am not sure.
That is the square root of 1500.
