This is going to sound kinda strange, but I promise that it really works...get some baby powder/talc and sprinkle on the tangles rub it in and then proceed to work out the kinks. They should unknot easier.

Hope I was helpful,Good Luck!!! :)

Find a very small empty jar with a cap, like a perfume sampler. Make sure the chain clasps are disconnected from the other side. Drop the chain tangle into the jar, fill the jar to 1/2 point with WD40. Cap tightly. Get in your jugging outfit, put the jar in your pocket and jug for 1/2 an hour. Alternatively you can tape the jar to a vibrating sander or another vibrating tool. The vibration and / or jarring makes the chains separate mostly by themselves.

Keep smilin'

Jewelry cleaner has a a good texture of jewelry safe soap that should losen it up and aid in detangling.
Or you could try toothpaste.
Don't go around using random cleaners in your house though. It could mess up ur chains permanently.

What I do is I take a sewing needle, and very gently work it through the knots in the chains. It takes a good eye, steady hand and patience, but it should work.

ok...get two sewing needles and a large magnifying glass....start by gently working on of the needles moving the chain and use the other to start separating.....it takes a little work but, it works. Patience is the answer here....good luck

put them on a flat surface. Take two safety pins (one in each hand) and with the needle part start to make your way through the clump of chains. Don't use your fingers b/c it just makes the clump harder to undo.

If you absolutely cannot untangle it, take it to a jewelry store.

With your fingers gently rub the tangle together and then gently pull them outwards. Repeat this process until they come loose. More or less to get the tangles loose you have to kind of shake them. Nobody came and tied them in real knots, so all they really need is to be loosened up.,

Lay them flat on the table, get a pin or sewing needle and take your time working through the tangles.

use straight pins to help separate the knots in the chains. they can get in the tight spots and then gently loosen and you will be able to get them apart!

You will have to sit with a magnifying glass and a safety pin, possibly, but I would bring them to a jeweler.
