Discrimination is one of the most common social behaviour, what motivates one towards it, and what prevents many of us from doing it, and what forces almost everyone of us to deny it.

It's human nature to categorize and separate everything we can.. even small children do this.. the thing is that when people see a behavior sometimes they attribute it to the wrong category.. like say color instead of it just being the fact that they are a human being... and the roots of discrimination are born... when children do this.. they see the way others react and continue the behavior that granted them so much attention.. in this way.. it is learned... hope that helps some.

Discrimination exists because of the need for someone to feel superior over someone else. It seems to me that this is because they actually feel inferior to those that they hate and this is the only way for them to handle life.

Those who don't discriminate are probably content with themselves and have more of a helping attitude toward others.

People deny that they discriminate because when confronted with it they actually see how ugly they really are on the inside.

If a person has bet on a horse whith certain characteristics before, and lost every time-would they be smart to keep betting on that particular kind of horse?

People learn from bad dealings with certain kinds of people.The banking institution has a long history of loss when dealing with certain situations, so they don't do it anymore. Getting it yet?
