Sh=20+Sp
20+2Sp=25.5
2Sp=5.5
Sp=2.75

X+(X+$20) = $25.50
2X=25.50-20
2X=5.50
X=2.75
So the shovel cost 22.75, and the spade cost 2.75.... good price for the spade.

x+20 shovel
25.50 total cost
x +x+20=25.50
2x+20-20=25.50-20
2x=5.50
x=2.75
x+20= 22.75
shovel 22.75 spade 2.75= 25.50
