Yep, you heard it in News over and over and over again the whole week. In fact, not only immigrants, but the media people were hurt and not only that, but the expensive equipment they use to broadcast were destroyed and they are not workable any more. The question: Who is going to pay that? L.A.P.D.? Villaraigosa said they are investigating the incidents, but as a matter of fact, there is not too much to dig or investigate, since the video talks by itself and we can see clearly what happened that day. Shame on them. People were very pacific walking to push the Congress to make an Immigration Reform which the have the right to do since this is in the Constitution. When police investigate a crime commited by any U.S A Citizen, they hate when this person lies to them, perfect understandable, but in this case, it seems like L.A.P.D is lieing about the incident, since they say somebody started throwing bottles against them. So, why in this case they can lie? Mmmmmmm! I wonder why.

No matter what the LAPD does they will be scrutinized. Maybe is people stopped assuming they were all racist pigs then it wouldn't be so obvious when they actually did their jobs. People who don't know about police work, should stay out of it.

Guns loaded with foam bullets. Sheesh. And they were used on illegal aliens and thier supporters - some of whom may have been immigrants, others of whom may have been natural-born citizens.
Yes, it's likely the police allowed themselves to be goaded too far, and, yes, they gave the warning to disperse in english, only, and, yes, there's an investigation and there will almost certainly be consequences - the Mayor /is/ more sympathetic to the rioters than the police, afterall.
But it's not like the rolled up in APCs and sprayed the crowd with .50 cal machine gun fire.

Making something a criminal offense gained't continuously ward off that is use drugs and inebriated driving were a criminal offense for years and that doesn't help. Having a gun gained't help always yet being defenseless will under no circumstances help.. isn't it extra efficient to have a gun and under no circumstances favor it than to favor it and under no circumstances have it!! A gun is type of a parachute. in case you want one, and don't have one, you'll likely under no circumstances favor one back."

People who are either legally here or not have human rights. Since I was not there, I cannot truly say what started the trouble between the people and the police. And neither were you who answered this asker with answers of Hatred for Hispanic people. What I saw was police officers violating peoples human rights. If you are so bent on returning undocumented people back to their country, go do it yourself.
But I seriously doubt you will even try. And if this is the case...then just shut up. Cowards!!!

For those of you people with a negative answers you should be shame of yourself & blind. This is real life!!! This is not funny either!!!It is really sad to hear my American brothers & sisters saying things like this. Who raise you? Mexican immigrants are getting harassments from us. do not know story but LAPD should have kicked those illegal mexicans butt all the way back to Cancun. What gives these illegal mexicans any rights at all? If it had been the Mexican federalies they would have whipped their butts and thrown them in jail for several years.
