do i have to have skype to view .there webcam.if i havent got it?

No if you both have eg Yahoo messanger or MSN messanger and a yahoo or MSN email address then you do not need skype but you download skype for free and can phone them up through the internet for free, if you want to phone a landline or mobile then you have to get credit as you would with a PAYG phone.

If they are using Skype, then the answer is yes. Skype will allow you both to use video conferencing. Although, it is not the only software that will do this.
