I'm American so I guess that allows me to answer this question. And yes I like British people. Or at least I guess I do, I've never met any. But I guess if I ever do, it will depend on how that one person acts. You can't really judge the whole barrel just because of one bad apple.

They are fine by me. It only gets irritating when some, not all, attack Americans in general and get pretty nasty about it. There's no call for it and all it invites is an exchange of venomous hatred. So pretty soon we are all living up to the absolute worst we can be. Until I got onto yahoo answers, I didn't realize how disliked Americans were not just by people of the UK but others also. I hold no ill will towards anyone that doesn't hold ill will towrds me. Thought we were allies. Hope that is the case, but I got outta the habit of butt kissing along time ago, so there it is.

Sure we Americans like the British. What's not to like about them. We saved their **** during WW11.

I don't know anyone from Britain, but I don't have a notion of liking or disliking them, either.
