Castration/life in prison/death.

Personally I think that they should be castrated and put on death row. Its bull crap saying that they are rehabilitated they can be released into the public now. Tell that to the child they hurt and see the fear go into that poor child’s eyes. As far as I’m concerned they lost all their “human rights” the moment they decided to take away the innocence of child! Molesters deserve the max! They have no right’s, no choices what they do is inhumane!

Death penalty. Not so much as a punishment, but that's a disease that our society hasn't found a cure for yet. Until we do, we shouldn't keep them in cages.
I'm not talking about 15 years in death row and appeals courts. I mean make it justifiable homicide if the child's father gets ahold of the man. I'll bet these guys might think a little harder if they knew the kids dad could hunt them down in their sleep.

In addition to what we currently have; imprisonment, Megan's Law - informing the neighborhood of the person's past, etc., we need some way to change the person to appropriate behavior.
Masturbatory re-conditioning is one - it should be mandatory, and monthly re-evaluations and strengthening or maintenance of that conditioning.
If I were a judge, I would also sentence him to Dianetic therapy - I've seen things psychiatrists would call a "miracle" first hand. I think they're the only ones that can really truly change such a person's desires INSIDE.

Death penalty, it seems these type people continue to commit the same crime...that would solve the repeats and deter the rest

Put him in a cell with a large inmate who is serving life for murder. Things will work themselves out.

Five years in jail for the first offense, Ten for the second, after the third they castrate you and lock you up for life.
Of course the sentences could be heavier if the abuse is particularly bad.
