Someone at my school started a rumour that i said i was going to bring a gun to school, i didn't say this but they had to invistigate. They did, and said that they belived me, and told me i wasn't going to be punished, because they knew it was just some stupid rumour. They decied it would be best for me to stay at home for the rest of the year,"homebound." i wasn't complaining, a free vacation, and i would still get homework and grades. But then they went back on their word and said i had to either be suspeneded and bring my case before the school board or i can go to ADT(Adolescent Day Treatment). They send juvienile deliquents there. So of course i went to ADT, if i got suspended i would fail the school year. But my class is full of pregnant girls and crimanals. They said i wasnt getting in trobule, but i have to be sent to a school for tennage crimnals? do i need a lawyer?

I would get a lawyer and file a lawsuit against the school.
This seems to be violation of due process.
You may not be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law.
You have not been convicted of anything.

It's awfully difficult to get that kind of punishment in most school jurisdictions. There must have been an awful lot of people in this conspiracy against you. A lawyer may be able to get you back into the regular school system, but it won't be overnight and if you HAD talked about bringing a gun to school, you may find that this might escalate into actual charges of Terrorist threats being brought against you.
My advice, get a lawyer IF you are POSITIVE that you NEVER made any such threats or talked about that in any manner. If you DID say these things, you are getting off easily.

It's a good idea to get one.
This sounds like a case of CYA. The school was warned that you had a gun, or were going to bring a gun. If they end up doing nothing, the accuser can bring them bad press and they know it. Easier to get rid of you. That's the way schools deal with problems. Because they doubt you'll fight them on it.

YES!!! YOU NEED A LAWYER!!!
You also need a new set of friends. This sounds to me like lets make some trouble for "that nice person" so she can be more like us and fit in a lot better. You don't need these kind of friends.
You may be able to sue for money for "emotional distress" in addition to clearing your name of these unfounded allegations.
MY SUGGESTION: SUE THE SCHOOL FOR MONEY TO PAY FOR TUITION TO A PRIVATE SCHOOL, SINCE THAT SCHOOL IS NO LONGER A GOOD PLACE FOR YOU!!!!
(Do you think this nonsense will stop if you go back to your school??? It will happen all over again. These people are intent on making trouble for you, they think its fun, or feel it is in their interest to do so, and you would be victimized again when you return to school.)
You'll need to talk to a lawyer about all of this, and I think you will win in court or get a very good settlement!!! TRY TO GET TUITION FOR PRIVATE SCHOOL EDUCATION YOU DESERVE IT!!!!

It wouldn't be bad to consult a lawyer.
1) Find out who started it
2) You have to PROVE you never said that.
