"Box of Rain" By The Grateful Dead

The very last line says "Such a long, long time to be gone, and a short time to be there....."

It was the last song that Jerry sang live in public and it reminds me of the Dead shows that I went to when I was younger.
It always rings true when you're having fun and thinking about the good old days.

There are so many that bring tears to my eyes, but the songs that are sure-fire songs to make me cry are Michael W. Smith's "Friends" or Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings."

It's a very sad song (and true) but the song, "Dear Mr. Jesus".
It's that one about a child praying to God asking him to protect kids from abusive and neglectful adults. Don't know who it is by. It can make me tear up just hearing the tune start because I know what it is about.

Another song that I know of is more of a love song, but it's that song "to love you more" by celine dion. Its more bittter-sweet.

What would your choise be?
