start exercising.. you'll be addicted to endorphins before you know it.

-not a stoner but have smoked on occasion

-know lots of stoners

-know several that have had to quit for their jobs

-exercise and hobbies worked very well for them.

in the end.. you probably want it for an escape.. it's kind of like the people who go to the bar for a beer to relax.. but there are other ways and exercise is the best way.. it relaxes the body, cleans your system and the endorphines your body produces truly can be addictive.. making you want to work out all the time.. switching your fixation from something unhealthy to something healthy... and if you do start to relapse your body will let you know very quickly that it doesn't want that stuff in your body.. when you get in shape your mind tries to keep you in shape.

it will help, I promise.

The longer you go without it, the easier it is to stay straight. You're not physically addicted. I think you're just bored. Sometimes I would love to get high, just for the fun of it. But I can't because I'm on oxygen, and my husband Is naturally high. It's really tougher if you're alone. I find this website is excellent therapy. You don't want to buy something off the street. You could really get ripped off, and you don't know what you're really getting. Hang in there, kiddo. If you love this website, then I believe you really have found your passion. You like to help people. and you like to give advice. You could become a teacher, a counselor, a psychologost, or even a psychiatrist! So many possibilities. And getting high is so expensive now, and the really good high doesn't last that long, and it could cause lung cancer. I hope I've given you SOMETHING to think about. Good luck.:)

I'm 51, started smoking at 13. Smoked everyday from 17 till 5 days ago. I quit for 30 days about 5 years ago. I decided to quit again. It has controlled my life for too long. I was always catching a buzz when I had time between work, family and everything else. I could always do without it when I had to but as soon as I had the opportunity I would gey high.
I want to get stoned right now, but, like you I don't have any. I refuse to buy it again. If it's not around, I could do without it.
Stay away from it, don't give in. It gets easier the longer you go without it.
Try substituting something else to do when you get the urge. Go for a bike ride or swim or something physical.
Good luck.

It's a great thing that you were able to keep away from pot for 4 months... it sounds to me like you're ina state of relapse at present.. As you know... it is illegal and most of all it brings heaps of bad effects on your health... I'm sure that you would have felt better durig the time you were not using it.... so why fall back now? Maybe moving out helped you not in terms of unavailability of it but also in terms of giving you more new and exciting things to be indulged with and adjusted to?? now if it is the case of feeling settled down in your new place... you might be running out of interesting things to do....Try your level best to engage in different and interesting activities... if you still find yourself craving for pot, seek some professional help.. counsellors will guide you to get rid of it in a systematic way.... :)

I think that you are young, bored and have moved somewhere where you feel scared and alone. I understand that you have the urge to smoke, but you don't need it. Find other things to occupy your time. Start working out, go for walks, read, anything to get you out and with other people. You will be OK. Just realize that you are telling yourself you need it, when you really know that you don't. That is your crutch to make yourself feel comforted in a weird time right now. Hang in there, young one!

I quit, it was hard. I had to look back and see all the laughs were fun but it made me stand still and not progress for so long. It's difficult to be normal on it. Get a hobby or a job and live clean. It'll be better in the end.

hmm.. well if you want to do it but at the same time, dont want to... try smoking an unfiltered cigarette in place of the weed... it almost gives you the same high for a few minutes.. and if that doesnt work (which it should) then try dipping pouches...other wise, i would just buy some dank and have fun

if you dont want to do it then replace it with a hobby. unless you really want it then go find it. ive asked strangers before, but thats only because i was in chicago and it was a last resort. if not find some people who have the same intrests in you, then youll have stoner friends.
