How much RAM do you have? Right click My Computer then go down to Properties. It will say the total amount of memory. If you are running Windows 98, I know there is a problem with At&t, but dont give up and dont go with NetZero, it will be a headache in the long run.

Gee, gal, you need to tell us how much Ram you do have, before we could tell you if it is enough.
To find out how much ram you have, Right click my computer and select properties. The general tab usually gives the ram amount.
If you have 32 mb or ram or less, you probably wont be able to get online, unless there are special circumstances.
If you have 64mb you can probably get online, but you will find both (high speed and dialup) are slow.
If you have greater than 128mb ram, you should be able to get online, altho 256mb or even 512mb or even more will usually give better speed and performance. New computers usually come with 512mb minimum, and many have 1gig or more.
Your network speed is independent of the amount of ram you have, except as I mentioned above. It really wont matter whether you have netzero or at&t, unless you have service problems with one of those.

You best bet would be to sign-up for the free 10 hours per month Net-Zero service. Try it and find out if it will work:
http://account.netzero.net/s/landing?action=viewProduct&productId=free&group=iso-standard-plus-commitment
Good luck.

take your computer to a computer technician and have them add more random access memory.
do not do this yourself!
one little slip inside your computer and you could end up with hundreds of dollars in damages.

If you need more RAM, go to http://www.crucial.com and you can see exactly what type you need. Then just buy some...you can buy it right from Crucial, but it is more expensive.
