Are we teaching our kids to surpress their feelings - sort of like some of the priests who go molest everyone???

No we are teaching them to suppress these feelings, just respect their bodies and each other and whatever their beliefs might be. If a couple decides they want to be abstain until the wedding night for that absolutely magical moment that's up to them and there are lots of other heavy petting, etc that usually gets done in the meantime. Don't think they just hold hands and kiss on the check until the wedding night!

There are a great deal more religious people out there than you know, who do wait until marriage to sleep with someone. Me and just about all my friends, for example.

You're not surpressing feelings - you're saying those feelings have a time and place, and before marriage is not the right time or place.
