I'm really into metal and classic rock (Rainbow, Purple, Iron Maiden, Yngwie Malmsteen etc) . But I also LOVE classical music. I don't really have a fav, but I can give you a few that makes me wanna cry!
Mozart, 'Turkish rondo', 'horn concerto no. 4'
Beethoven, 'Cello concerto ...', 'Fur Elise .....', 'Choral Symphony no. 9'
'Greensleeves' (I think it's Vaughn Williams)
Tchaikovsky, 'Swan lake', 'Dance of the little swans', 'Dance of the reed flutes', 'Waltz of the flowers'
Rossini, 'Barber of Seville'
Handel 'Water music', Arrival of the queen of Sheba(I think it's Handel)
Vivaldi's four seasons of course (That 'solo' in spring has more adrenaline to it than any metal I've ever heard)
Orrf 'Carmina ....'
'Also sprach ..... (morning)'
Strauss 'Blue Danube'
Then there is a great one by Louise Tucker, 'Only for you', I think it is a cover, anyway she put a 'techno beat' with it and sang it for the queen's birthday (80th I think).
and the rest I can't remember right now, I'm at work and not near my music.
Enjoy !!! :-)

Chopin's Nocturne in E Minor. It will remind you a little bit of Betthoven's Moonlight sonata. I love it.
Trivia: it's the song Doc Holliday (val Kilmer) is playing in Tombstone when someone asks him he's playing Steven Foster. his reply.. "it's a nocturne.. you know.. Steven (bleeping) Foster.
It's also the background music in the Hallmark version of the Secret Garden.
You can listen to it on this page.. it's the bottom track, #21

Orff's Carmina Burana. don't know if it actually constitutes as "classical" from that era, but it is an awsome one regardless!
