The mix of the concrete and admixes can change the price rather dramatically. Some structural concrete with high cement content can be very pricey. There is even a mix that calls for a super clean aggregate for better cement adhesion.
Here in California we are paying fro about $88 and up per yard. You are right too. The high demand everywhere is driving up prices.

depends on how you want the concrete...apparently there is different grades of concrete aince the mixture can vaqry. in tennessee, an average yard is $75

about 90 dollars for a 4000 lb. mix here in n.w. pa.
