If you didn't vacuum the system properly before you filled it, it's not going to get very cold. If the high and low pressure readings are both good when the compressor is running and the low pressure line isn't getting very cold, the system probably has air and water vapor in it.

To diagnose this on this site would be next to impossible. I would need to know what the pressures on the high and low sides read. One thing I can tell you is, when you are under hard acceleration the A/C compressor is disengaged to allow as much power as possible to be transferred to the wheels.

Have you even thought to have the refrigerant charge checked? If the compressor isn't engaging the compressor, it may be low charge, or a bad compressor relay...you didn't really give anyone something to work with here...

If everything about the a/c is as you say????Could be the blend door not closing and allowing hot air to be mixed with cold air resulting in cool air.
