Should Whites pay us Black people reparations?

lol my family wasnt even in the country during the time of slavery. why should i have to pay black people with my taxes? and what do you mean they made "us" into slaves? you were a slave? you know somebody who is a slave? im part irish, the british screwed the irish over for hundreds of years, back into the middle ages. slavery only lasted maybe 200 years. irish immigrants were discriminated against almost as bad as blacks in the late 1800s/early 1900s. so where the hell is my check at? if you want to pay me, i take cash, check or credit. i really deserve it since my ancestors were oppressed and they were holding "us" back. they kept "us" down.

stuff like this just pisses me off, black people dont deserve any money because their ancestors were oppressed 150 years ago. every ethnic group has been oppressed at one time or another. if black people really wanted to show pride/advance the status of their race, theyd quit blaming white people for the past and begging for handouts and go get jobs and make something of themselves instead of joining gangs, dropping out of school, etc. in large numbers. that goes for every race. everybody in america whites, blacks, etc. needs to quit bitching about how society is holding them back, and realize they are the only ones holding themselves back and then go do something for themselves. if everyone did that the world would be a much better place.

I am white and I had two ancestors who were slaves. They were sold into slavery by the puritans because they were Quakers. Do you think I should receive reparations? I do not and I do not think you should receive them either.

i think you're full of crap. i dont own any slaves and neither did any of my relatives in the last 200 years. i think you should quit blaming whites for your own problems and get on with you're life.
