I have been dating this one guy for 9 months. I really do love him but he is treating me like crap. He lets people talk about me BAD! I really wish I could just get over him but I cant see me without him. He will be a complete jerk one day then the next he will be extra nice just so I won't leave him. HELP PLEASE!

Take a step away and ask yourself if you were a better person before you got up with him or are you a better person now? If he makes you sad or unhappy, get ready to live with it for the rest of your life. That means forever. Try keeping busy, don't always answer his calls, and hang out with friends...people who would defend you to anyone. People who see the best in you and NEVER want to make you sad. It sounds like he has too much going on in his mind to put you and your feelings first. Next time he acts like a jerk, get MAD...not SAD. And you can start thinking and imagining your future without him. Just try.

It's apparent that you should leave him. No one wants to be treated badly. It's a surprise you even love him regardless of his actions. He will be his true self and treat you badly most of the time and when he needs something from you he'll be nice. That's human nature, and his just happens to be a really bad one. You should think about what you are getting from this relationship, not how much you love him. You can find someone more suited for you in no time and once you are over him you'll laugh at the past.

Girl, Get over him!!! I went through that with my ex for a year and a half, and it took me to meet a great guy to get over him. My Ex Treated me like crap one day and then was sweet as can be the next... I couldnt take the Hot then Cold. I was totally head over heels in love with somone and thats all I could see at the time, even though my friends and family told me that he is no good cause he disrespects me and doesnt treat me the way I deserve to be treated. All I could see was that we had the greatest sex and we had fun together..... I over looked the bad and saw what I wanted to see.... Now I realize that actions speak louder than words. You deserve to have someone treat you good ALL the time not just when its convenient for them..... I have to say though, after almost a year, I am finally able to be friends with my ex and the feeling I had for him are gone.... I will always love him, but I respect myself too much to let him ever treat me like that again!!!

Get some pride and self esteem and realize anyone who would 'treat you like crap' isn't worth your time...doesn't matter how sweet he is on occasion.
Stop wasting time with a jerk, and move on so you'll have the opportunity to meet someone who IS worth your time and affection.

He is a jerk. Tell him not to call anymore, and then stick to it. Don't answer his calls/text messages/e-mails. When you stop talking to him you will get used to not having him in your life and you will be able to see yourself without him (and you will be way better off when you find a good guy who treats you right). you have to think to yorself, 'can you see yourself with this guy for the rest of your life?'
if not you need think about getting out before you get to the point that your only together for company and used to being around eachother.
the sooner you do this, the better it'll be. if you leave it drag it'l be harder to egt out as this could either go a controling relationship or you'll feel you cant get out.
id seriously wait until something happens and your not happy. then make it clear to him that you dont care if he tried to be nice to you and walk out. most men try to make it up with women but dont let his charms get the better of you. keep telling yourself this will only last few days maybe and then its going to get worse

Unless he is willing to change, which is probably unfortunately NOT going to happen, I would break this relationship and cease all contact.
How can you let yourself be used as a doormat? you may or may not like this ... I....can...see...you without him now.
You are in love with a fantasy in your head, not the real man in front of you unfortunately.

I think talking to him and telling him how you feel about how he treats you is a start. Definately need to try and get your mind off him though, your friends can always help I say.

Why not start by adding his phone number to CALL REJECTION feature on your phone service? Then you don't have to listen to him on his complete jerk days.

dont be afraid to put your foot down. DEMAND RESPECT DONT ASK! if he cant oblige then he isnt worth you rtime and energy. let himknow how you feel and if he cant change then ignore him, dont answer his calls, eventually he'll get the hint or go away!
