Oh there's so many from which to choose...but I think my favorite was Skid Row...and they actually had a little musical cred. too. Who did you like?

Wasn't there a big difference between hair bands and bands with members who had long hair? I mean a band like Def Leppard--sure they had long hair, but their music sounded nothing like Poison or Enuff 'Znuff or Warrant. The same with Van Halen and even Motley Crue. Hair Band was initially an insult, no? So crappy bands that didn't last long or had little to no weight like Poison or Warrant take that moniker, while established bands that stuck around were just hard rock (Van Halen, Def Leppard) or heavy metal (Motley Crue{?}). Don't bunch Skid Row or something like that in with those legitimate bands.

Wow, I couldn't pick ONE favorite. I like Motley Crue, Bon Jovi,Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Ratt, Poison, Van Halen, Lita Ford, Warrant, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, and Dokken.
