Excellent! A bit more intelligent and challenging. I wouldn't say she's better than Rose, but certainly a nice change, and no doubt her character will continue to grow as she travels with you through time and space ;-) She's certainly got more of the Sarah Jane Smiths about her than the Jo Grants I reckon.
Don't think much of her family so far, but the indication in the last ep that her mother doesn't like or trust the Doctor (made worse by the guy working for Saxon) might make them a bit more interesting.

I was always of the belief that the doctor can do anything. And really doesn't need an assistant. And I know you are not ignorant enough to say she is there to make you tea.

More personality than a Darlek. Better legs than 'K-9'. Can act better than a scarf. Just don't give Her the keys to the TARDIS until after She gets Her licence.

Love her - she is a much more nicer person than Rose was don't get me wrong - I liked Rose also)
