Damn right it's rare! There is no such bike as a Honda GSX-1000! The 'GSX' prefix is used by Suzuki and only Suzuki.

It may be a Honda CBX-1000 or a Suzuki GSX-1000, but neither of these is rare, either...

My dear friend Micheal,
well u must have got the idea that HONDA never produced the GSX series, its only by Suzuki exclusively n they have there trade mark with it.
As far as the price is concerned no where in the world a person can keep a bike in showroom condition even after 27 yrs. and as u said it ran for 16,000 miles only dat is kinda acceptable.
wat do i feel is it must be accidental with meter gauges changed and new painted or new fittings.
act smart take a gud mechanic with u to inspect this vehicle.

perfect now its the GSXR 1000 however the R1 has been redesigned for 07 and from what I pay attention its going to be the liter motorbike to have. as a great way through fact the Honda is going I dont think of they even make a 900 anymore, a minimum of not interior the U. S., yet even their 1000 isn't as quickly through fact the R1 or GSXR 1000, of course have been speaking approximately tenths of a 2d in cases between the three so till your going to race its ultimate to purchase the motorbike your the main delicate on.

Its absolutely mint?

Who cares bro.....

Its absolutely OLD.

What are you going to do with a bike that can't even keep up with the current crop of 600's?

Waste of money if you ask me.

I wouldn't recommend paying more than $500 for anything from the 80's.
