What makes it so hard for you to show affection? Most guys show it in the bedroom but no where else? Is there an explanation for that? Be specific? I just wanna understand..

You've obviously had a bad experiance. And have obviously been let down many times. Not all men are like that.. Many want a meaningful relationship.

All guys are different. One may be too macho to show it, and one may be clingy and show it in line at the grocery store. Each of them may feel the same but act different . I'm a lover and I like to show my girl how much I enjoy her by having my hand on her. I guess that's my expert opinion.

Guys aren't romantic in the same way girls are.
We tend to see that kind of romance as slushy.
A guy would prefer if the scene was set up so that you could have a nice sophisticated evening together and round it off with some romance.

It varies form guy to guy. If a guy is crazy about you he will kiss you as often as he can just because you bring that out in him.
Other guys are more reserved and don't show affection in public.

it's this macho trait we have! We just [or i should say most of us] can't seem to hold hands in the mall;walking down the street;or at a group function[picnic] etc. Why we do it ;i don't know we just don't want our "buddies" to see us holding hands with a girl/lady friend.

Because we don't feel the way women do. Affection is not as important to men as it is to women.
