What was your most disastrous trip or vacation?

HA...the one last July...rented a really nice condo on the beach in NC...litterally had to walk across a road and you were at the ocean...

Unfortunately, the idiot I was dating at that time felt in necessary to invite his sister and her family and his mother (who hates me)...so had to put up w/ the mom yelling and screaming and following me around telling me what i was doing wrong and listening to his sister yell at her son for being a kid and yelling at me for giving my daughter too much freedom.

i sat on my bedroom balcony and smoked most of that vacation.

I had a 1973 Vega. Three friends and I drove to Florida for a short, inexpensive little trip. If you know anything about Vegas, you will not be surprised to hear that the car broke down. We were stuck in a sleazy hotel, in a room decorated with diagonal strips of various-colored (oh hell, what's that stuff, sticky on the back, used for lining shelves?) When the car was fixed, we literally gave them all the money we had.

We got 200 miles down the road - to Orlando - and the car broke down again. Needed a whole new engine. We all had to call home and have money wired to us, and plane tickets. We left my car at a shop and flew home.

Our cheap little vacation cost us WAY more money than we had expected, and one person lost his job because we stayed WAY longer than we had expected.

But that's not all! I returned some weeks later with some family members, to get my car, and on the way back, my mother's car caught on fire!

I went to a southern state on the east coast. (I can’t give much detail cause then I’d have to kill ya, lol) Anyway, I ended up getting my purse stolen right out of the hotel room while I was in the shower! My boyfriend at the time had stepped out to the store and while he was gone I decided to take a shower but since they only gave us one key I had left the door unlocked for him…don’t even ask me why…I’m from NY..I NEVER leave anything open but I guess I was supposed to be in a nice quiet area so I took advantage. When my boyfriend came back we got into the worst argument because he blamed me and called me all sorts of names (Safe to say I am not with him anymore, lol) because all of his stuff was in my bag too. I ended up losing over $500, 2 beepers (LOL, it was a long time ago), passports, ID’s, everything…basically, mines & his. Make a long story short, the police department from that state were madd rude to me because I was a New Yorker, the cops told me and I quote “Well, since you aren’t from this state there’s nothing we can do.” No lie! I couldn’t get home for 3 weeks because I had no ID, I couldn’t get on a bus, plane, or train. Finally, I had a friend get a plane ticket for me under her name, she checked in and everything then gave me the ticket and I got on the plane under her name. I really didn’t think of what could happen if something went wrong but now I think about it and I wonder , if that plane would of went down, no one would of ever known I was on that plane and I would of forever been lost. Scary huh?

We flew to the midwest to get my stuff out of storage and pack it all up. We got ticked off at each other a lot and were tired. Then on the trip home, the plane veered off the runway! And the pilot said a 747 was coming up on us and had to do it or we'd crash! Worst trip ever.

I went on a 7 day Mexican cruise and forgot to bring my Paxil ( I was on it back then). By the third day, I was pretty much suicidal from the withdrawls. I fought with everyone the whole time between crying and feeling sorry for myself. I pretty much ruined the whole trip.

Thought I'd save some money and drove to Montreal, on my way I got a 600 dollar speeding ticket, should have flew. =)

i was trying to go to the bathroom but i couldnt get up from my bed so yeah that was the most disastros trip
