I don't think that they are dead, in purgatory or an alternate universe. The Others and the Dharma Initiative have their hands in everything else, why can't they be powerful enough to fake the flight 815 wreckage? All Naomi said about the plane wreckage was that they sent down cameras and confirmed that there are bodies down there. Who can they be? Obviously not the inhabitants of the island.
I try not to come up with any theories of my own and just go with the natural flow of the show. I am a loyal viewer and still riveted by the story telling and plot twists. Also, if I have no preconceived notions, then I can't be disappointed when the series eventually comes to an end (which will hopefully not be for a very long time).

Lost is by far my favorite show! I don't think they are in the Bermuda Triangle or Hell, nor or they all dead. I'm thinking they are still on the Island. The Dharma Initiative at one time, was something real. I think "the Others" are completely beyond insane. I can't believe they were all just waiting for Locke to kill his father. I wonder if Sawyer or "James" is feeling relieved. Do you think he will tell anyone that he killed Locke's Dad?
I believe Locke might still be "under cover" and that Juliet is going to get a reality check next week when Sawyer reveals the cassette tape recording.
Does anyone think that Kate might be pregnant with Sawyer's baby? I definitely think it might be possible. It is only a matter of time before its revealed.
I don't think they will ever reach a point to the end of Lost. The finale will drive all its viewers insane - just like it did the year before. I believe they will eventually get answers - but several will not want to leave if given the chance.

I don't think they are dead. I think that either the anamoly caused a 'split' as it were, creating two planes and two sets of people .. one that crashed in the ocean and one that crashed on the island OR, more likely.... there was a media/fact cover-up and the world was LED to think the wreckage was found with no survivors. And who would be most likely to orchestrate such a Dharma-ish cover up? I'm still voting for Desmond's ex girlfriend's father financing this phenomenon. OR as noted ..... it could just be more of the others' bullcrap with the rescue lady being another plant.

What would be the fun if they "got to the point"? The show would then be over, which would suck!
I really don't think they're dead. How could Jack and crew be dead while "the others" are living? Makes no sense. There is some other weird explanation. Maybe Ben's people planted a fake airplane with bodies and all. I mean, if they are able to get detailed files on each castaway, it stands to reason they could stage fake wreckage as well, doesn't it?

They are not in the Bermuda Triangle because the plane crashed somewhere in the South Pacific. At this point I don't really have any new theories, I'm just going to wait and see what happens next week. As for them all really being dead, who knows?

here at my house we have entertained many ideas, such as...they are all dead, they are in a mental hospital, they are all having a very bad nightmare, they are all in hell or purgatory, and my favorite, they are in some sort of devils triangle (like the Bermuda Triangle in Atlantic Ocean), theres one in the Pacific Ocean also. Who knows, but hope they answer some of the questions we have. Cant tell us all or show would end.

First, it really is a great instruct, so sure, watch the previous 3 seasons. As for the "hell in the international" theory, that is been floated on the instruct itself, as those days as 2 weeks in the past, as a be counted of reality. Locke's dad lands up on the island after blacking out in a vehicle crash, and sees his son, who has been reported as shown killed contained in the plane crash. He as we communicate assumes he's in hell (he develop right into a foul guy, regardless of each little thing), and would not believe in the different case until eventually the instantaneous he's killed (if even then...). besides the indisputable fact that, the manufacturers have persistently insisted this island is really contained in the authentic international and is neither hell or purgatory. i'm assuming they are real to their be conscious...

The producers negated the hell/purgatory theory a long time ago. I'd be greatly disappointed in such an answer anyway. This writing has been so creative so far, I expect an equally creative, totally unexpected answer to this whole mystery.

I think Naomi is a plant and a liar. I mean, how convenient is that, to make the losties think there is no hope of rescue.
