I wouldn't worry if the colour has changed, only if the bleeding has got significantly heavier.

The bleeding and the diaorhea probably are not connected in any way.

Don't be ashamed or embarassed to ever go to the doctors and ultimately you have a responsibility to keep yourself well for your new baby. Just ring and ask to speak to the doctor or nurse if you don't want to go in.

Congratulations on your new baby and enjoy this precious time xx

OK.......no more time to be ashamed. Your a MOM now. And trust me Doctors have seen and heard it all. You are probably fine you could just wait it out. But you should make an appointment just in case. Remember you need to be healthy not only for yourself but for your baby. If you can't go in to the doctors. Try calling your doctors office and asking if you can have a nurse call you back. they are very helpful and will answer all questions. Good Luck

I had bad diarrhea too but its not all that uncommon. They did a bunch of test but never found any reason for it, it went away after 8 weeks. The only good thing that came of it was I lost all of the baby weight but I also couldn't breast feed because of it. It is important to go to the doctor to get tests done becuase if you have an infection or something you could have given it to the baby during the birth.

Why would you be ashamed to go to the doctor? At any rate, its perfectly normal for the blood to change colors right after birth. Things are getting back to normal. As for as the diarrhea goes you might have the stomach flu or something type of virus going around. Don't let yourself get dehydrated.

I have 3 kids one is only 8 weeks so ill tell you your blood is going to be crazy for the next 4 to 5 weeks maybe so i wouldn't worry about that i had big clots coming out of me all different colors of red and brown so i wouldn't worry bout that and they probally gave you stool softeners so i wouldn't worry bout that either but if it persists then i would call the doctor drink plenty of fluids and try to eat cheese any way you can grill u a sandwich

Hey i would think the upset tummy is probably a tummy infection you have picked up and your blood turning dark is OK it's if it goes really red with large clots, again if i was you and your worried tell the midwife on there visit to you that's what they are there for. to help you plus you don't want your baby getting any tummy bug, so for now drink plenty of fluids and make sure you wash your hands regular before touching or feeding your baby.

Go to the doctor before you get something worst like an infection. You should not be ashame it happens to most people on ocassions. My advice go to the doctors because what if you have some kind of sickness or something is wrong. Please check with a doctor.

This could be a normal thing caused by hormones. Why on earth are you too ashamed to go to the Doctors? You didn't choose to have this problem. Besides, they've seen it all & it's probably common. Would you rather bleed to death at home?

Never be ashamed to go to the doctor. If you feel more comfortable ask your midwife.

I got the same simptoms when I was breastfeeding. I wouldny worry to much about it, as long as the baby is fine your body will recover.

It is best to get checked out just in case you have got a cold or a virus. Baby will be fine as long as he/she is still feeding and still crapping and crying.

If a baby is happy he/she will still feed and cry.

Happy mothering. x

why are you ashamed hunny?? that's what doctors are for. if you feel to embarrassed to see them in person ring your surgery and ask if the doctor could give you some advice. if its like my doctors they will ring you back after surgery. but you must get the diarrhoea sorted out as soon as possible as you will be losing vital body fluids. you can get a product called dyoralyte. if you cannot get to the local chemist, use 1 pint of boiled water pinch of salt and a teaspoon of sugar. mix them together and let it cool in the fridge. have small glasses at a time. please seek medical advice hunny. you have to stay fit and healthy so you can care for your new baby. congratulations on the birth of your little one. hope you feel better really soon. all the best. xx
