I have just made a film on my laptop which is about 2.5 GB - and the only Cd's I can find to put it on to can only hold up to 700MB - does anyone know where I could buy CD-R's / CD-RW's that could hold my film?! Or could I buy a DVD to copy it onto?!?! Help please!!!!

Correct. CDs only hold 700 mb. You will need to go with a DVD, which holds 4.7 GB .

Almost every CD-R and CD-RW holds up to 700 MB. You will have to buy a DVD-R or DVD-RW to put it on. I would also probably have to be the dvd that is recordable on both sides.

you have to bought DVD-rw. a CD only hold 700 MB. or you can use 4 cds.

Convert your film using DivX drivers available from www.divx.com and pick a compression suitable to reduce the film size. You may loose some quality as a result but you will be able to fit a 2.5Gb film onto a 700Mb CD-R

800 mb is top for CD. have to burn as a DVD using probably Nero software using a DVD burner.

1 blank dvd holds 4.3gb
if you want to compress it with cd
try using a zip/rar program and tell it to split it into piecies then put the pieces in seperate cds and then copy it to the computer you want to put it in and extract it
though i recommend a dvd much simple

DVD if your burner is a DVD burner, Walmart or CVS both have them.

Get a DVD-R they hold 4.7GB.
