Scorpions don't bite, they either snip at you or sting with their tails.

If that happens, use a torniquet to stop the movement of poison and try and suck some of the venom out using your mouth. Most venoms are actually ok to have in your mouth, its only if they get into your blood that things are nasty.

I've been stung by a scorpion, and to be honest, it's just like a bee sting. I took some benedryl to make sure I didn't have an allergic reaction, and I was fine. Here in Texas we've got the tiny sand colored ones and they great big black ones. Although the smaller ones are more poisonous, it didn't really hurt me.

I don't have a jungle, so no scorpion can bite me there. More seriously, I would try to suck out as much of the venom as possible, and try to get medical attention as quickly as possible.

I would wonder where the scorpion came from, don't they all livid in hot and dry climates?
