Of course not. It is the beautiful subject. You get scarred by your friends and VIII std. teachers. Even my dayghter says their teacher was telling in IX the maths will be difficult. What you need is to say to yourself is Yes I can Do It and get someone who has done well in maths and get his/her help to understand the problems and the means to answer. Never take the advice from the person who is zero in Maths. Enjoy the Maths and have good time. You will excel in maths if your put your heart and soul and prctice more and more. The old saying is PRACTICE MAKES THE MAN PERFECT. This stands good not only for maths but also for everything in life. Have a great time with Maths.

I guess some people are better at math than others..but I think your teacher makes a difference in how well you learn it. Also I was HORRIBLE at math in highschool but in university I got a lot better at it, and I found it way more interesting. So you never know what will happen...you could turn out to be the world's greatest mathematician :)
Math is just recognizing patterns..it takes a little while to get the hang of it but as long as you don't give up I firmly believe anyone can do it.
Good luck!

Math is most logical subject. Once you have understanding about formula's and logic behind math you will do well. Its most interesting subject. You might need to find someone who can explain and teach you math well as not every one have ability to teach maths. Once you have extra help with Right person you will enjoy doing maths. I am telling you this with my personal experience as I had some problem understanding maths but once i was explained by a right teacher I never looked back. Spartan

Not at all. Only do not study from the exam point. Learn each and every step carefully. get your doubts clear from the real teacher i.e. the teacher take interest in your difficulty and explains properly with out saying "it is like that"
Perhaps you may have to refer your previous standard maths and study that portion properly.
Write each and every formula or rules or theorems in a separate note book and revise it daily.
You will be successful.
Apply this for other subjects also.

DO NOT give up on math. You may think you're not able to learn math, but believe me when I tell you that you're more than ready to learn! Just treat it like a language that you first learn. At first it'll seem hard. Give it time, and BE PERSISTANT! If you don't understand a concept or a step in class - mark it/highlight it - then take that problem back to your teacher and have him/her work through the problem.... STEP-BY-STEP.
Math isn't hard - it's just new to you at this stage! DON'T BE AFRAID OF MATH.
You'll do well!

Majority of students can easily learn Mathematics when they grasp 'basics and need' of computing!
Apparently you have been taught computing-basics in a manner wiser students are taught now!
Primarily the problem you are facing is very common !
You may learn Mathematics by relating to positive whole-numbers alone, which is a simpler way to learn and apply computing! You may also relate your computing memory to zero-start 2D square matrix positions to learn computing principles visually and once you have developed self memory in relation to matrix positions you will be competent to compute like any other intelligent student!
Unfortunately nobody teach computing the manner I have explained! Being a Vedic Mathematics concept it is regarded as not scientific!
I recommend you to learn science vigorously and along with science you will also grasp Mathematics!
If you have language-skill, concentrate on languages!
Any how you cannot disregard mathematics!
Your question is a challenge to those who prepare methods of teaching to students!
Regards!

It is bit true.
All female students are not comfortable with maths.
Though it is quite interesting subject, We cannot take any second chances in working a problem.
The answer should be, either right or wrong, yes or no.
No half way in between. That's why the other subjects escape our dislike.
Recently I came across a survey published in a daily.
If a girls name is of very feminine type, they look soft, and feel inferior for maths learning-which needs fast & enterprising.
Consult your parents and take a chance to rechristen your name to a bit stubborn (Durga! no offence), and be on Fast Track.
Good luck.

Oh, particular, they could be attentive to math to be able to degree how far into the dogs to decrease, or how plenty drugs to furnish. Math IS technology. I study that in case you completely understand all maths, then you may completely understand the universe. no longer even Nasa adult males be attentive to all math. Fractals are damn no longer person-friendly!
