I dreamt I spelled my last name incorrectly. Does this have any kind of meaning? I remember looking at how I spelled it and knowing it wasn't spelled right but didn't attempt to correct it.

Subconsciously you were spelling incorrectly, and that shows some mistake you may have been experiencing in reality. In other words, in day time, you probably do something that you don't feel it is perfect or right. You subconsciously and purposely did it wrong in dream because deep down you know that there are some mistakes in life that you did but you deny it.
Basically, you have a dream of denial. Perhaps, you want to find out if there are things that you should face it directly in reality.

It means that you might be too concerned about making the grades when in all truths nothing is certain enough to worry about the small stuff...
Good examples: Had a friend who attended college back in the 80's who strived to be all that she could just to get smashed by a freaking train and getting decapitated. And all because she was too concerned about getting to school on time!

dreams don't always have hidden meaning.. many times we just try to make them have meaning.. it's our nature.. much like we can look at a purely random number chart and see "patterns". I would say this is one such dream.. if you can find meaning in it then it will have meaning for you... but only you can find it in this case... in the end I just wouldn't over think this one.. after all.. what's in a name...
