If you poke a friend on facebook... what happens?

They see a message that you poked them and can then poke you back. Its just a way of reminding friends that you are thinking about them.

I little tiny message pops up in the corner that says " has poked you." The message is so small and so out of the way your friend will probably not even notice it for a long time.

On their homepage they recieve a notice that they've been poked by you and if you havent enabled your privacy settings and that person you poked isnt you friend they would be able to see you profile for a week

nothing...they are just told you poked them
