i wouldn't say special - i mean there is nothing special about having to go up against society. But yeah i get what you mean. I do feel special at times - like i'm really glad that i'm not a hetro! I can't imagine not being gay.

No. I feel special mostly because I am special, not only to myself but to a certain someone too. He makes me feel very special. The fact that we are in this great big wonderful gay community is just icing on the cake.

Only because others force it on me.
I don't see my sexuality as anything fancy, it's other people that make a big deal out of it.
I just want to be a person, and part of the huge sexual spectrum that's visible in most of the world. Instead we're segregated, which makes absolutely no sense.
So I only feel "special" because others force me to feel such. I'd much rather people make me feel normal.

i feel special because i'm me. and there's only one me. being gay has brought some pretty special stuff to my life, but there are other things that make up who i am. for instance, i'm a scientist, too. and there are many special things in my life that are associated with that.

i feel special, because i love myself, not to be all conceited, but i love being who i am, and who i date, love, or mess around with has nothing to do with it. i am happy with myself because I am doing something with my life, and i am succeeding
