they are afraid that in the event that they say "properly, in case you smoke in basic terms fairly it is high-quality" infants will say "Cool, i can smoke some an afternoon" and finally end up smoking further and extra until they are smoking a p.c.. an afternoon. in case you in basic terms stated "in no way smoke greater suitable than 4 an afternoon," might new human beings who smoke be waiting to stick to it? i'm unsure. some human beings for sure can and do, yet no longer everybody is an identical . . . why carry out a little human beings drink a tumbler of wine with dinner and others finally end up on skid row? Edit -- Shida is full of it. you are not getting lung maximum cancers in a 12 months or something close. no longer all lung maximum cancers is brought about via smoking. intense college pupils do no longer die of lung maximum cancers. or maybe maximum people who've smoked heavily for some years are not getting lung maximum cancers. the common lung maximum cancers sufferer is a seventy-12 months-previous who smoked 3 packs an afternoon for fifty years. And who replaced into it who stated smoking cuts your existence span in 0.5? What a shaggy dog tale. Smoking takaes six years off the common lifespan, so as that would desire to signify that the common lifespan replaced into 12 years! i'm no longer advocating smoking, yet that's hysteria.

I quit smoking in January as my New Year's resolution. I'd started when I was 14 (I'm 20 now) because it was the "cool" thing to do at the time. I didn't really want to quit but my boyfriend said he'd quit with me if I did. Unfortunately, he's still smoking...

I smoked for a couple of years until I got pregnant with my first child, didn't smoke again for six years, started smoking after I met my man, I smoke cigars now, they are much better (Black & Milds).
I wish I didn't start back but sometimes you just need it and right now I need it, I will try to quit again before long.

Strarted 1989 - Quit 1996
Call myself a non smoker now since it's been 11 years.
Why did I start? It's called high school, do everything you're not supposed to do, besides how cool was I with my can of Bud, a pack of red's, my Chevy, and GNR pounding out over the Blaupunkt. The all American bad azz. The glory days.........

I used to smoke. For 15 years. Started when I was 14. I smoked because I was a bored teenager and wanted something to do with my friends. After years of trying I finally quit for good. It helped when I had a daughter. To smoke and think of her would make me feel soooooo guilty. In the end I went to acupunture and it did the trick. You have to want to quit, you have to be ready and you have to know that you can do it!!!

I've smoked for 30 years, never had a desire to quit. Just cremate a pack with me when I die and put my ashes in a Marlboro 100's box. I started to get back at my parents for moving me 1200 miles from where I grew up - real mature!!

ME. Over here, no, the other right. I do wish to quit, and soon I will have to. The U.S. is quickly banning the smoking in almost every major city. There are even more small cities joining the 'refuse enjoyment' crowd.
