Karen Black - many many many films - she is quirky and only does "character" roles. She always makes even a B or C movie have at least one great point - her. Just type her name in browser and click search or go to wikipedia. She is old now and rarely does anything but her old movies are worth renting and checking out. Then you will understand what a "cult" actor/actress/film can be.

Kate Winslet
Hands down, I think she is the best actress currently performing. Just watch films like Iris, Quills, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Little Children. They really show her range and what she is capable of. Plus she has been nominated for four Academy Awards, and at the youngest age of anyone in film history.

Nicole Kidman, mainly beacuse of how versatile she can be. Like going from the creepy mom in The Others to sexy and tragic Sateen in Moulin Rouge. She is a very talented actress and a classic beauty.

Rosalind Russell in His Girl Friday or in Auntie Mame.
I know it's an old one, but, in all her movies, she is a smart woman who can take care of herself.
I also like Mia Farrow, Jessica Lange, Uma Thurman, Edie Falco, Angelina Jolie, Winona Rider and lots of others.
