Love the character !!! You did a great job playing Spike ☺
I'd never seen BTVS until a couple of weeks ago and it was Season 5 with your character in it. Your character really grabbed me...it's the only reason I watch now. I'd never seen the series Angel either until I found out that Spike comes back to life in it so that's where I started watching that one from.
Great job with the accent, you really had me fooled there!!!
I never would have believed it wasn't really yours until I heard you on some old talk show interview. You're music from the talk show sounded really good too ☺
Hope to see much more acting and hear more music from you in the future!!!

well, spike started out as a bookworm, tiny little scaredy cat sort of man who couldn't knock over a house of cards on a table if he had a good wind behind him to help. He gets bit. He becomes. Then he turns into a big bad vampire. He becomes a bully and a heartless jerk for the most part. He had good examples in Angel and Dru to teach him to be heartless and mean. They all were monsters without feeling. Then....here they get to Sunnydale. And poof, Angel falls for Buffy. He becomes a 'good vampire' now. And Spike is still the bad one, along with Dru. Angel gets bad, teams up with Spike and Dru. They wreck havock for a while. Angel gets good again. Dru goes away. Angel goes away. Spike gets bitten by the buffy I love you bug. He gets that thing put into his brain so he has to be nicer to humans or get pain in the head. But he can now kill vampires. He becomes really Buffy's little pet, following her around, getting a bit here and there. And in the end....Buffy doesn't need him or Angel anymore too much. So he goes to live with Angel in L.A.; becoming a sort of detective crime fighter sort.
He didn't have a backbone mostly. I love the character, but he seemed to follow anwhere he was led. Be a mouse. Be a bad guy. Be a good guy. Be a boyfriend. Be a good guy again. Who the hell was Spike after all this was said and done? He should have been so much more. He should have been stronger than what he ever was.

Spike was/is my favorite on Buffy and Angel. I was so upset that he died in Buffy, but at least he came to Angel and gave that show a lift at the end. He was such a smart character-if he hadn't been on the shows I would have lost interest as the shows were to young for me (just by a smidge-I'm only 32). Spike really made the shows and was a good compliment to Buffy (the whole romance between them was not my thing though-it seemed a stretch). Loved that long dead bad poet!

I love Spike! Even bad he never pulled off being truly evil. I mean, to stick it out with crazy Dru for a 120 years shows a strength of character few possess. This is truly one the most loving and selfless character on Buffy - even when he was still a viscious killer. Love could drive this character to good or eviI, depending on the demands of his current love interest. I wish I had watched the show when it was on the air. I bought the DVD's in January and watching Spike develop and evolve over the course of the seasons has changed my life. Season 6 was the hardest to watch, with all of the sexual abuse and beat downs by Buffy. Dead Things hit me hard. It was almost like reliving a very bad time in my life, that had led to me avoiding any possibility of ever falling in love again for the past 14 years. Watching it helped me move forward though, and I am actually dating again - but only nice guys now. Watching woke me up to why I kept finding people who used me - it was being loving & SELFLESS - as in putting others first always and forgetting there was a me in the relationship also, and allowing the other person to define who/what I was.
Thank you so much for bringing Spike to life. I love him both good and evil, even loved crazy basement Spike. I do wish that Buffy had been held accountable for her actions by other characters though, because it would have helped clarify for the slower members of the studio audience (most people I know) that Spike was a victim of domestic violence (most missed this because he was a guy). It would have been a great opportunity to bring to light that even strong men can be victims and perhaps lead to a little more understanding when real life victims come forward.
I also loved Spikes wit and you have the most expressive face ever to grace TV. I hope to see you in somethng new soon. Have you thought about trying to get a role on Supernatural? Would love to see you there. :)

Wow. When Spike first came into the picture, I thought he was absolutely cool. It brought the show to an interesting level, especially when Angel turned bad and Spike had to choose between helping Buffy and letting Angel destroy the world. And when Spike got "chipped", his evil side started being chipped away too, helping Buffy and the fellow Scoobies. But when he started falling in love with Buffy, it's when we see a more "human" side to Spike, how vulnerable he is. So when he got his soul, his return to humanity is complete. Well, sort of, since he's STILL a vampire. And the last ep of Buffy when Spike sacrificed himself? It broke my heart! And considering that the last time I saw Spike, standing side by side w/Angel and Co., it still hurts. I mean, did they survive? Did Spike?
Yeah, I'm babbling, but Damn, I LOVED SPIKE!!!!

Spike was my fav when he first arrived on Buffy, when he was evil, and his partnership with Drusilla was great, I stopped thinking he was great when he became nice later on..
I like James Marsters though, he fooled me into thinking he was british..

I liked him alot, though i felt he was overrated. I was always more focused on Willow, Anya, and Tara.
But he added a great dynamic to the show and I loved Spuffy. Great stuff.
