Yes and I agree with the others that think Lakisha will go next week. But look at this though - 7 out of 12 contestants last season now have record deals. Chris Daughtry who was 4th from last of being voted off is bigger than any of the others last season. So my thinking is all of the final 6 this season will probably get a record deal as well as Gina Glocksen. Over the years we seen that you don't have to win it to make it big. In fact the biggest stars from American Idol did not win the show, so just look at it that way.

The choices are getting difficult now but, yes, Phil and Chris deserved to go.

Well, if you base it just on tuesday night's performance then probably not. But, if you base it on his performance as a whole and more importantly his ability to really make it and be marketable, then yes it was his time to go. I couldn't see him winning Idol.

i dont think so....i think that lakisha should have gone....but im sure she'll be the next to go....i hope...i want jordan or melinda to win!!! they're my favorites!!!!
oh and if it was based on just the bon jovi performance then i think that phil should've stayed....i really like him...i know a lot of ppl dont but oh well...he seemed to be ok with it.....i hope that he gets a record deal anyways...

NO!!! He was getting better all the time. LAKISHA SHOULD HAVE BEEN VOTED OFF. She is so BORING. Sure she has a great voice but she is NO STAR. She has NO STAR QUALITY AT ALL. Every song she sings sounds the same. Why Simon kissed her after that performance I HAVE NO IDEA.

The only reason I say yes is because he wasn't consistant- he had some really bad weeks, but he was good for the BonJovi week.
