unlike dogs which can a variety of foods cats on the other hand are strictly and purely carnivorous. They are in the same family as lions and tigers and cheetas who all kill animals to survive. Cat's will eat a variety of animals not just mice. They will eat birds, bunnies, and lizards and roaches. To me the cat and dog make a great combination. Dogs protect the outside of the house while cats patrol the inside of the house from pests and other vermin. Smaller dogs will also kill rodents but they usally don't eat them.

Because Cats like to hunt like tigers. Killing a mouse/bird etc is a natual thing for a cat to do.

My cat don't eat them, She just plays with them to death or kill them and leave them in shoes. One time she just gave a mouse a heartattack by holding it in her mouth. I guess she don't eat them because we feed her.

From my experience they just kill them and come back to my house and eat my food.
Also did you know its harmful to give cats milk?

My cat used to just kill it and play with it.
I never seen him eat it...
